Dammam King Fahd Airport is the largest international airport in the world in terms of area. It is located about 12 miles from Dammam City, Saudi Arabia. Dammam city is the 5th largest city of kingdom Saudi Arabia. Once you have reached at airport, you can reach the city by various means. Public transport is the least preferred choice of visitors. This place truly reflects the Saudi culture. Moreover, you can have their traditional dishes here.
- Shop - Shopping is fun in Dammam. You can visit Marina mall and Ash Shate’a Mall located near the Corniche area. These malls are not different from the malls you find in European or any other western countries. Other than shopping, you will find many international food brand present in these malls.
- Drink - It is not possible to find an alcoholic drink in Dammam, as it is banned in the whole kingdom of Saudi Arabia. However, you can find several juice parlors and cafes in the city. If you want to taste beer while staying in this city, you can only get non-alcoholic beers from some shops.
To summarize this, we can say that it is not a perfect place to spend vacations, but it will not entirely be true that you will be bored during your stay.
