Located 8 kilometers away from Turku City’s center is Turku Airport. The airport is a great place for meetings and a relaxed place to stay in while waiting for your flight. Restaurants and cafes are located in Terminal 1 and 2 and are great places to have coffee with friends or enjoying a snack while waiting for time to pass.
Turku Airport has two terminals and you can park your vehicles or car rental at the car parks fronting each terminal. Parking for persons with disability is also provided and are marked. Now if you wandered around the airport and find yourself at terminal two, there are also a number of restaurants and cafes that you can go to should you get hungry again. Staying at the airport while waiting for your flight is okay, but it would be more exciting if you tour the city in a car rental as Turku city promises a lot of exciting places to go to such as the Turku Library for bookworms, Turku Cathedral and Turku Castle for architectural and history students. Car rental companies would be glad to take you around the city and enjoy the scenic views of Finland.
